We've heard about tiny houses, they have really become a thing.  Some people love the downsizing idea.  And with the cost of almost everything on the rise, this idea has become more and more popular recently.  To me, it would be like a permanent move to a camper.  But the tiny house is much more solidly built than a camper is, so I guess that's a plus.  And safer - allegedly.

This little church, or chapel, really, has been a place that people either love or have the reaction of "why?"

It's so cute, and there are some conflicting reports of how many people can fit in the small structure.  It varies from 4 to 8 people.  Obviously it does depend on the size of the people.  Officially the tiny church will hold 6 people. Seven if you include a possible minister or officiant. There are two pews that are singles and there are two pews that are more of a double.  But like people have said, it depends on the size of the people wanting to sit in the church.

The official name of this tiny church is the Blue Mound Wayside Chapel.  The chapel is located in Luverne, Minnesota which is near Sioux Falls. It was first built in 1963, so it's been around for more than 50 years.

There have been some comments where people have stopped by to see it and the door has been locked, and they could not get in.  But other times the door was open, and people have been able to enjoy the small church.  Either just or a zen moment, or just to sit and enjoy this small structure.

There are some other photos of the tiny church including the inside of the structure here.

If you have a chance to take a road trip to that area of the state, maybe stop a moment and see if it's open.  Just one of the many unique roadside attractions that are in Minnesota.
