Heart to Release New Album and Memoir

Ann and Nancy Wilson are getting set to release a new record and a new book chronicling their lives and career. Are they naming names? Will Nancy talk about her divorce?

Not only are Ann and Nancy Wilson working together on new Heart material together, they're drawing on their life experiences for that album.

The new record is going to be called Fanatic and their first single is going to be called Dear Old America and was reportedly inspired by their father and his service in the Marine Corps. They also pay tribute to the country where they recorded Dreamboat Annie with Rock Deep (Vancouver). Nancy also used her newlywed status to write a song called Walkin' Good which is about finding new love.

The title of their new memoir is rumored to be called Kicking and Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul and Rock and Roll and Ann and Nancy are going to each be telling their life stories as part of it.

The book will be out September 18 and the album will arrive in stores on October 2. In the meantime, they will be performing at Moondance Jam July 21.
