‘High Flight’ [VIDEO]

Simply put a tribute video for the courageous veterans, even though the author of ‘High Flight’ was an aviator with victory we all fly high.

I shot the footage flying back from Dallas to Minneapolis and the poem High Flight popped into my head. The two go hand in hand pretty well together.

The author of the sonnet ‘High Flight’ was John Gillespie Magee, Jr. an American aviator yet served in the Royal Canadian Air Force.

John died as a result of a mid-air collision over Lincolnshire, United Kingdom during World War II.
