The quieter side of the Beatles' catalog is getting the all-star tribute treatment. Keep Calm and Salute the Beatles, which features contributions from such names as Jack Bruce and Ann Wilson of Heart, will be released on April 28.

Bruce's cover of "Eleanor Rigby" is being billed as his last recorded performance. The Cream bassist and singer passed away in October 2014. Meanwhile, Wilson goes against her reputation as a belter extraordinaire by tackling the wistful "Across the Universe." Todd Rundgren, whose obsession with the Beatles is well-known, puts his own spin on "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away."

Keep Calm and Salute the Beatles is produced by former Yes guitarist Billy Sherwood, who contributes his own take on "Something" to the project. In recent years, Sherwood has given us similar tributes to the Doors, the Who and Supertramp.

While those albums primarily featured hard rock and progressive musicians, Sherwood has focused on '70s soft-rock acts for the Beatles project, with Helen Reddy ("All You Need Is Love"), Judy Collins ("I'll Follow the Sun"), Stephen Bishop ("All I've Got to Do") and Leo Sayer ("Hey Jude"). You can see the full track listing below and listen to the late Andrew Gold's near note-for-note take on "Norwegian Wood" above.
