Nuclear Assault is based out of New York City and was formed after Danny Lilker was fired from Anthrax.  He hooked up with John Connelly to form a more aggressive band.

They were never as popular as Anthrax, Megadeth, Exodus, or Metallica but they had a profound influence on Thrash Metal that often used Nuclear warfare as a theme in their name and music.  That trend continues today with the new Thrashers that are popping up here and there.

The core of the band is still together and they still perform live.  This song and video was a big hit on MTV's "Headbanger's Ball" back in 1989.  It had a funny bouncing ball with the written lyrics and they even took a shot at all the women in the Hairband videos by having a "Required Nasty Bit".
