The Minnesota Wild have re-signed defenseman Marco Scandella to two more years with the team. After being drafted by Minnesota in 2008, Scandella has spent the majority of his time with Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Houston Aeros.

The 6'10", 210 pounder played in all five of the Wild 2013 post-season games against the Chicago Blackhawks, leading the team’s defensemen in playoff scoring and ranked fourth in time on ice at 18:01 per game.

Scandella is a native of Montreal.
