Sports Illustrated writer, and MMQB's Peter King has released his preseason NFL power rankings -- and would you look at who he has at number six on the list; none other than our beloved Minnesota Vikings, but #6 really? Not that I'm disappointed, it just seems a little optimistic (even for me). I hope he's right.

He goes on to say that there are many variables on the team including 1) the return of Adrian Peterson (check), 2) Teddy Bridgewater's continued development, and 3) the emergence of an improved pass rush. He says that if 2 or 3 of these things go right, the Vikings will be a team on the rise.

Here's how he see's the entire league's 32-team off-season power rankings:

  1. Baltimore Ravens
  2. Seattle Seahawks
  3. Green Bay Packers
  4. Kansas City Chiefs
  5. New England Patriots
  6. Minnesota Vikings
