My Head is on Fire!

There's something about food left on the break room table that is incredibly tempting. When that food is fresh from the garden, it's irresistible!  Hot peppers are a completely different story, as I just found out the hard way.

Everybody knows what a jalapeno looks like, right? Apparently I can't tell the difference between a jalapeno and habanero pepper. As I chew this delicious little demon, my face turned from delight to sheer terror, reminding co-workers of Harry and Lloyd from "Dumb and Dumber".  Nose running like a faucet, the inside of my mouth switches from fire to numb and back each second that passes. Water only acts like gasoline to burn this inferno hotter. Of course, this is the funniest thing anybody within 100 feet has seen in years as tears of joy of others comes down equally to my tears of hell.

Conclusion...they should teach hot peppers 101 in school. Gotta run, the bathroom is my best friend today.
