Neal Schon’s Solo Album Due Out Today

Journey guitarist Neal Schon is releasing his solo album today. 

Neal Schon has quite a few irons in the fire right now.

His first of three solo side projects is hitting store shelves today.

The nine song album, called So U includes work with Night Ranger guitarist Jack Blades (who co wrote a lot of the album), Journey drummer Deen Castronovo and Thin Lizzy drummer Marco Mendoza.

Neal has already released a couple of songs off the album. He released What Do You Want on his website last month, and he released a song called Love Finds A Way in collaboration with the USA Today newspaper.

Neal has a two disc project that's coming out later with Jan Hammer and former Journey drummer Steve Smith and Neal is going back to where it all began with Santana later this year to team up with that group for a new album.
