In my humble opinion, I think that Minnesota should be the Festival Capital of the world. Seriously, I’ve been all around the world (England, Wales, France, and basically all over the United States) and I’ve never seen anywhere that holds as many festivals year-round as we do. It’s pretty radical.

It certainly makes for an entertaining place to live. The two most popular types of festivals here in the land of 10,000 lakes are music festivals and beer festivals. I’ve done more than enough posting about our music festivals lately, so today we’re going to be taking a look at one of the coolest beer fests around.

I’m talking about the 6th Annual Northern Lights Rare Beer Fest in St. Paul. The festival will offer craft beer samplings from over 30 breweries, 10 of which are Minnesota based. The 6th Annual Northern Lights Rare Beer Fest will be taking place on March 23rd from 7 pm to 10 pm and you can purchase your tickets online now.
