Paving Schedule to Begin on Heritage Drive Roundabout

SARTELL -- A project to build a new roundabout in south Sartell is getting closer to completion.

The roundabout at Stearns County Road 1 and Heritage Drive has closed County Road 1 to through traffic for weeks.

County Engineer Jodi Teich says if the weather cooperates they will begin paving work next week. The entire project will require three lifts of pavement to be laid, with the final layer of payment scheduled for the week of October 3rd.

Some landscaping work may still need to be completed but the road is scheduled to be open to traffic by the end of October.
