Model and daughter of Boomtown Rats front man Bob Geldof has been found dead at her home in Wrotham, Kent, England.

The BBC is reporting that Peaches Geldof has been found dead at her home in Kent, England.

The police were called to the home shortly after 1pm, British time and confirmed her death, which has been called, "sudden" and "unexplained".

She was the daughter of Bob Geldof, who famously played Pink in Pink Floyd's The Wall. He was also the lead singer of 80's new wave group The Boomtown Rats whose hit I Don't Like Mondays put them on the map.

Bob issued a statement, saying,

'Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.

'Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?

'We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.

'Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.'

Peaches leaves behind her dad, Bob, sisters Fifi and Pixie and half sister Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof. She was also a wife of singer Thomas Cohen and mother of two boys.
