Pink Floyd Documentary Coming Soon to DVD

I'm really looking forward to seeing what the new Pink Floyd documentary has in store. 

This new Pink Floyd documentary isn't going to cover the Pink Floyd we know.

The new documentary will be called The Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett Story and the previews I've read say that the focus will be on Syd and his turbulent life as told by those around him including his friends and Pink Floyd band mates.

Syd and Roger Waters were best friends back in the day and Syd was the major creative force behind their early works, but drugs and mental illness led to his ultimate firing and being replaced by David Gilmour. It's sad, too. Who knows what else was locked inside Syd's brilliant brain.

In addition to the documentary, fans will also get to see an interview with Roger plus bonus material of interviews with all of the band members.

The Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett Story will be released May 20.
