For three weeks next year, arenas across North America will rock to the sounds of some classic British blue-eyed soul. Yesterday (Dec. 3) Rod Stewart announced ten dates in the spring as the 'Live the Life' tour. The dates are listed below.

Rod has tapped a fellow Brit whose music is steeped in American rhythm-and-blues, Steve Winwood for his touring partner.

As of now, the tour is focused exclusively on the eastern half of North America, with the tour opener in Chicago's United Center on April 10 being the westernmost show so far. More dates are expected to be revealed in the future. Tickets for all concerts go on sale beginning Saturday, Dec. 8. Visit Stewart's website for more information.

Stewart has had a busy 2013. This summer he released his autobiography, where he admitted that he took cocaine anally. In October, he put out his first-ever Christmas album, 'Merry Christmas, Baby,' and he has a new disc of original material planned to coincide with the upcoming tour. In July Stewart said that the album could possibly be a sequel to his 1970 classic, 'Gasoline Alley.'
