We love Shirley Manson. Like, love. How could you not love her? She’s a tiny, fiery, super hot pixie rock chick who melted everyone’s hearts by fronting the gloriously synth-heavy “alternative†pop band garbage in the ‘90s.
After calling it quits several years ago, Manson and Garbage are making a comeback. They released an awesome new album this year – another huge call for a ‘90s resurgence if there ever was one – and they’re currently touring the U.S.
Manson is making headlines this week thanks to a Twitter feud that erupted after the band’s show in Germany earlier this week. Apparently, the lovely Miss Manson wasn’t feeling the love from the crowd, so she posted about the icy reception on Twitter. That and a few follow up tweets led to a stream of tweets between Manson and fans, some criticizing her choice to call the crowd out on the Web and some defending her.
We’re not sure what happened in Germany, but there’s no way Shirley Manson would ever get an icy reception from us. Did we mention we love her?
