St. John’s To Start Martin at Quarterback [AUDIO]

St. John’s will start freshman Nick Martin at quarterback Saturday when they host St. Olaf for homecoming at 1pm. Martin is a 6’3 195 pound pocket passer from Plymouth and Wayzata High School. He was 6-8 passing for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns in relief of Connor Bruns and John Ries Saturday at Concordia-Moorhead.

Gagliardi says the Johnnies also plan to play 6’0 170 pound freshman quarterback Mitch Hendricks at quarterback at times Saturday against St. Olaf too.
The Johnnies are 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the MIAC. St. Olaf is 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the MIAC.
