Kyle Gibson took the loss despite registering a quality start, lasting six innings while allowing three runs on eight hits and three walks. Eddie Rosario paced the offense with a pair of hits.
Chris Giminez had his first career two-home run game for Minnesota, and Eduardo Escobar continued his recent hot streak with three hits, including a home run. Escobar is 13-23 in the last week with three home runs and eight runs batted in.
Eddie Rosario had a four hit night, including three home runs, and Eduardo Escobar had five hits in six plate appearances. Jason Castro and Kennys Vargas each had four hits in the win as well.
