The Twins came from behind to beat the White Sox 5-4 Thursday at Target Field. Max Kepler was hit by pitch with the bases loaded in the 9th inning to plate the winning run. Eddie Rosario singled in the tying run prior to that in the 9th.
Minnesota now trails Cleveland by 5.5 games in the American League Central standings with a record of 65-62. The Twins lead Kansas City, Seattle and the Los Angeles Angels by a half-game in the wild card race.
The Twins lost 4-3 in Chicago against the White Sox. Yoan Moncada doubled in the tying run against Taylor Rogers in the 8th inning before Tim Anderson singled in the game-winning run in the 9th against Trevor Hildenberger.
The Twins will play the fourth game of their five-game series in Chicago Wednesday night. Ervin Santana will start for Minnesota opposite Chicago's James Shields. First pitch is slated for 7:10 on AM 1240 WJON.
