Viking running back Adrian Peterson suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee in the 3rd quarter when he took a hit directly to his knee. Peterson knew immediately it was a severe injury but managed to leave the field with help from the training staff
The Vikings rallied in the 2nd half to beat the Redskins in Washington 33-26 Saturday afternoon. Minnesota and Washington were tied at 10 at halftime and early in the 3rd quarter Adrian Peterson left the game with a knee injury and on the next play quarterback Christian Ponder suffered a concussion and didn’t return
San Francisco 20 – Pittsburgh 3
A gimpy Ben Roethlisberger committed four turnovers, and the San Francisco 49ers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-3 on Monday night. The game was delayed twice due to power outages at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park
The Vikings lost 42-20 to New Orleans Sunday afternoon to fall to 2-12 on the season. The Saints piled up 573 yards of total offense compared to 207 yards for the Vikings. Drew Brees threw for 412 yards and 5 touchdowns for New Orleans.
It was a great weekend for road teams in the NFL, as many came out victorious. Green Bay lost its perfect season, and Indianapolis finally recorded a victory in 2011, while three more AFC teams gained playoff spots. H
Jacksonville Jaguars at Atlanta Falcons – 8:30 PM
Atlanta (8-5) needs to win this game to keep its current position as one of two NFC wild card teams. The Falcons trail the Saints in the NFC South by two games, but play at New Orleans on Dec
Seattle 30 – St. Louis 13
Rookie Doug Baldwin blocked a punt and caught a touchdown pass, and the Seattle Seahawks beat the St. Louis Rams 30-13 on “Monday Night Football.” Seattle (6-7) remains alive in the race for an NFC wild-card playoff spot as a result of the victory
Pittsburgh 14 – Cleveland 3
Ben Roethlisberger threw two touchdown passes despite sustaining an ankle injury, and the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 14-3 on Thursday night. Roethlisberger passed for 280 yards, an interception and two scores, including a 79-yard touchdown toss to Antonio Brown with 2:52 left in the game
Teachers need love too, and with busy school schedules, they may not always be able to find the time. It stands to reason that some teachers would be forced to steal a few moments to have intimate relations wherever they can– even in the bathroom at a Buffalo Bills game.
Viking quarterback Christian Ponder sustained a hip pointer injury Sunday after taking numerous hits against Denver Sunday. Head coach Leslie Frazier announced the injury to Ponder at his Monday press conference and said he is concerned about Ponder but the trainers say Ponder should be fine to play Sunday at Detroit
Philip Rivers threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns, and the San Diego Chargers beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 38-14 on Monday night. The victory snapped a six-game losing streak for San Diego (5-7)
