Haven't we heard this one before? The Eagles, making the publicity rounds in London, told reporters that their upcoming tour could very well be their last one. Like, ever. But the band has made this announcement about three dozen times over the past 35 years, so believe what you want.

The band is still describing his involvement as "in discussion," but according to guitarist Joe Walsh, the Eagles will be joined by former member Bernie Leadon on their upcoming tour.

If you've been hoping to catch the Eagles on tour this summer, you just might be in luck -- if you're willing to drive to see them. The legendary California rockers have announced a limited number of shows for their 'History of the Eagles' tour, which will kick off July 6 in Louisville, Ky. and wrap up in Bethel, N.Y. on July 25.

Last month's two-episode Showtime documentary chronicling the rise and fall of the Eagles will be available on DVD and Blu-ray next month. The band announced today that 'History of the Eagles' will be released on April 30, and include a third disc featuring the group's performance at the Capital Centre in Landover, Md. in 1977.

It's that time again, a new month with new music and March is coming in with a bang.

During Their peak years The Eagles recorded six albums, 'Eagles', 'Desperado', 'On The Border', 'One of These Nights', 'Hotel California' and 'The Long Run' and they're making a comeback.

The two part documentary of The Eagles aired on  Showtime in hopes that fans will get the understanding that being in a rock band is no cup of tea in 'The History of The Eagles'

When Don Henley and Glenn Frey set about authorizing the new documentary 'History of the Eagles,' they took the unusual step of securing an Oscar-winning filmmaker to produce -- because, as Frey put it in a recent interview with the New York Times, "Our management sent me what they thought were some of the best music documentaries that had been done. And I wasn’t crazy about any of it."

The enduring success of the Eagles means that Don Henley doesn't need to work unless he wants to. And when that time comes, it's hard to get him to stop. In a new interview, he discussed his upcoming projects that will keep him busy for the next few years, which includes a new solo album and autobiography.

Not that there's ever really been a bad time to be a member of the Eagles, all things considered, but this is shaping up to be a pretty good month for the guys in the band -- especially bassist Timothy B. Schmit, who recently shared the news that his battle with cancer appears to be over.

With the possible exception of Joe Walsh, the guys in the Eagles aren't exactly known for being talkative, and Don Henley tends to be the most taciturn of all -- so the fact that he recently decided to open up to Rolling Stone about the pair of new documentaries delving into the band's history must mean he really likes the movies.
