Canada's women's hockey team beat the United States in overtime in the gold medal game on Thursday. Here's a recap of all the day's action in Sochi:

The Team USA Women's Hockey team led Canada 2-0 with less than four minutes left in the game, but gave up two late goals in regulation before ultimately giving up a third in overtime, falling to the Canadian women 3-2; letting the gold medal slip through their fingers in Sochi.

The American Men's hockey team extended their Sochi Olympic record to 4-0 after defeating the Czech Republic 5-2 today in quarterfinal action today. The U.S. Men now face Canada at 11:00 am CT Friday in the semifinals. The USA/CAN winner will face the winner of Finland vs. Sweden in the gold medal game at 6:00 CT Sunday morning.

St. Cloud native Anne Schleper did not score a point in the win but took three shots in the game and was a +1 rating.

Team USA will learn their opponent in February 17th's semifinal following the quarterfinal round on Saturday.

Anne Schleper was a +4 in the game but did not register any points.
