Uncle Ted's latest run in with the Secret Service has cost him an opportunity to perform for our men and women in uniform.

Agents with the Secret Service paid a visit to Ted Nugent following his anti-Obama tirade at the NRA Convention in St. Louis last week.

In case you missed it, he said, “If you don’t know that our country is wiping its ass with the Constitution, you’re living under a rock some place…We’ll be a suburb of Indonesia next year. Our president, attorney general, our vice president, Hillary Clinton — they’re criminals, they’re criminals.” Ted also said that if the Obama administration hangs on to the White House, "I'll either be dead or in jail by this time next year." Well, the Commander in Chief didn't take too kindly to Ted's comments and sent the Secret Service to his door.

After much uproar and a petition by Democrats to have Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney denounce Ted's comments, Ted Nugent has been dropped from the bill for the annual Fort Knox summer concert that's being put on for the troops. Ted was scheduled to headline, and a post on the festival's website says that organizers have "reconsidered the lineup" and Ted is no longer on the bill.

Styx and REO Speedwagon were also scheduled to play and while they are still set to perform, Ted is not. A third act still has not been found. The concert is scheduled for June 23 in Fort Knox, Tennessee.
