The Cars Are Back With A New Album And Video

After a 24 year hiatus, Ric Ocasek, Greg Hawkes, Elliot Easton and David Robinson have returned with a brand new model. May 10th, you'll find 'Move Like This' on shelves and in iTunes.

They caused quite a stir in November '09 when they appeared out of nowhere on Facebook with a page and a lone video of  'Let The Good Times Roll'. Then last summer a lone photo of the band in what looked like a studio playing instruments garnered a slew of fans.  Three months later a short one minute video popped up and then in December another. It was inevitable that a new album was on it's way.

On Thursday an article on RollingStone.com provided us with a glimpse into what we can anticipate with the new effort and where the hell they've been all this time.

The first two songs have been released to radio and this video is of one of those songs- 'Blue Tip'. Give it a listen and you tell me- does this sound like classic Cars or what? I'm pumped to hear more. They do have a website, but there's not much there.
