This weekend you can catch the musical works of legendary Paul McCartney at the Pioneer Place as part of the Harmony, Peace, and Love series. If your looking for some great comedy head down to Mystic Lake Casino to catch Greg Fitzsimmons and Gabe Noah.     Harmony, Peace, and Love

    Grant Haake and his all-star band are back at the Pioneer Place. Harmony, Peace, and Love pays tribute to the music of George Harrison, John Lennon, and Paul McCartney. This is the "Love" portion of the show, the third and final installment of the series. It will be featuring the solo work of McCartney along with some music from Ringo throughout the show. Tickets for this show are $18.

    Renmants by Amber White

    Amber White presents "Renmants" in the front gallery until June 27th. White takes photographs of fragments of bone, charcoal, metal, and wood which she collects. She alters the material using light, heat, and chemistry. White graduated from Little Falls Community High School. She is now in her final year of the Master of Fine Arts program at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She was selected to be a Hot Metal Artist in Residence at Franconia Sculpture Park near Shafer, MN. CLICK HERE to learn more about Amber White. There will be an opening reception for "Renmants" on Thursday, June 18th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

    The exhibit runs now through June 27th. The Great River Arts Center is open from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

    Haehn Museum Exhibit

    Saint Benedict's Monastery- St. Joseph

    The current exhibit is titled Church, Community, Creativity: Testimony of Courage and Hope through the Prism of Latin American Women. This display features the work of Benedictine Sisters in Brazil and Chile, along with a collection of creative textiles from an art cooperative in Peru. There is plenty of time to see this exhibit as it runs until December 23rd, 2015. The Haehn Museum is open from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

    Loss4Words

    Rollies Rednecks and Longnecks - Sauk Rapids

    Back in February we told you about Levi Pelzer who recorded his first album in Nashville this last year. This weekend you can catch his band, Loss4Words, in action at Rollies Rednecks and Longnecks. They will be playing this Saturday starting at 9:00 p.m. Below is the video about Pelzer and his experience of recording his first solo album in Nashville. If you're looking for more entertainment, the Chad Edwards Band will be performing on Friday, May 22nd, and Pullstart Diesel will be performing a tribute to Waylon Jennings on Sunday, May 24th.

    Greg Fitzsimmons featuring Gabe Noah

    Mystic Lake Casino - Prior Lake

    Comedian Greg Fitzsimmons will be performing at the Mystic Comedy Club in Mystic Lake Casino. The show will also feature comedian Gabe Noah who was voted best comic by his peers in Minneapolis. Fitzsimmons is an Emmy-Award winning writer. He has been seen on The Howard Stern Show, Chelsea Lately, and The Adam Carolla Show. He hosts his own show, The Greg Fitzsimmons Show, and does the FitzDog Radio Podcast. He has also won four Daytime Emmys for his work with The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Tickets for this show are $19, and you must be 18+ or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. There are four oppertunities to catch these two performers on the stage.
