The Minnesota Timberwolves (7-33) were handed a 25-point loss by the Charlotte Hornets (17-25) 105-80 this afternoon in North Carolina. The Wolves shot only 36% from the field, with Thaddeus Young leading the scoring for the Wolves with 18 points. Gorgui Dieng had ten rebounds and four blocked shots.

The Timberwolves host Dallas (28-13) at Target Center on Wednesday, and New Orleans (20-20) on Friday.
