USAF Music Groups Coming To MN For First Time In Almost 6 Years
ST. PAUL (WJON News) -- Two music groups are making their first trip to Minnesota in almost 6 years. The U.S. Air Force's Concert Band and Singing Sergeants will be making a 12-day tour through North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
They will be in Minnesota for 5-days starting April 7th in Bemidji and will make stops in Brainerd, St. Michael-Albertville, and Waconia, wrapping up on the 11th at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. The U.S. Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants are two of six performing groups within the U.S. Air Force Band stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington D.C.
The goal of the groups is to inspire citizens to heightened patriotism, and to connect with the global community on behalf of the U.S. All the concerts are FREE and open to the public. Use this link to reserve your free tickets.
April 7th: Bemidji - Bemidji High School Performing Arts Center, 3:00 p.m.
April 8th: Brainerd - Gich-ziibi Center for the Arts, 7:00 p.m.
April 9th: St. Michael-Albertville - St. Michael-Albertville High School Performing Arts Center, 7:00 p.m.
April 10th: Waconia - Waconia High School, 7:00 p.m.
April 11th: Minneapolis - Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra Hall, 7:00 p.m.
