After getting off to another quick 14-0 start, the Minnesota Vikings (6-9) eventually had a punt blocked out of the end zone for a safety by the Miami Dolphins (8-7) with less than a minute left to break a 35-35 tie in a back-and-forth game, giving the Dolphins a 37-35 win in Florida.

Teddy Bridgewater was 19 of 26 for 259 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception. Matt Asiata led Minnesota's rushing with 16 carries for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Vikings receiver Gregg Jennings led the way with 3 catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.

Following Minnesota's early 14-0 lead, Miami came back to take a 28-20 lead; before the Vikings scored two forth quarter touchdowns and a 2-point conversion within eleven seconds to give Minnesota a 35-28 advantage with four-plus minutes to go. Miami responded with a 3-yard pass from Ryan Tannehill to Damien Williams to even the game at 35-35.

The game appeared to be headed for overtime with less than a minute left and the Vikings punting from their own ten yard line -- when the Dolphins blocked the Jeff Locke kick, sending the ball through the back of the end zone for a safety, sealing the 37-35 win for the Dolphins.

Next Sunday the Vikings will finish their season back in Minneapolis at TCF Bank Stadium against the Chicago Bears.
