The Minnesota Vikings (2-1) defeated the visiting San Diego Chargers (1-2) 31-14 this afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Teddy Bridgewater completed 13 of 24 for 121 yards. Adrian Peterson rushed for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Chad Greenway returned a 4th quarter interception 91 yards for a TD.

Vikings fullback Zach Line rushed for a touchdown for the second week in a row, and linebacker Anthony Barr forced a Phillip Rivers fumble in the first quarter recovered by Captain Munnerlyn -- eventually resulting in a Blair Walsh field goal giving the Vikes an early 3-0 lead.

The Vikings had 284 yards of total offense compared to 369 for the Chargers.

Next Sunday the Vikings head west to face the Denver Broncos in the Mile High City at 3:25 PM on FOX-9, and AM 1240 WJON.
