Vikings Sign QB Freeman To One Year Deal

The Minnesota Vikings depth chart at quarterback just got even cloudier with the addition of recently released Josh Freeman, formerly of Tampa Bay. Freeman’s agent announced the deal with a one-word Tweet:

 

Freeman was cut from the Buccaneers after losing his starting quarterback job to rookie Mike Glennon. According to reports, Freeman got a one year deal worth $3 million.

A five year veteran, Freeman has 80 touchdowns and 66 interceptions in his career.

Wide receiver Greg Jennings seems happy to see Freeman sign with Minnesota:
