The Minnesota Wild are back in action tonight when they host the New York Rangers at Xcel Energy Center (7 PM, AM 1390 The Fan). The Wild have lost their last three games and currently sit at 34-22-9 on the season.

The Wild are in the seventh spot in the Western Conference, three points ahead of Dallas for eighth place and only four points ahead of Phoenix for ninth. The Stars have won three straight and the Coyotes have won back-to-back games as well.

The Rangers are 35-27-4, putting them in sixth place in the Eastern Conference. New York trails Pittsburgh by 18 points for the top spot in the Metropolitan Division.
