So what does Gunter glieben glauben globen actually mean? The start of the song "Rock Of Ages" from Def Leppard means...absolutely nothing. It's German gibberish. But, it was the mistaken brainchild of producer Mutt Lange. Lange was notorious for making his bands do take after take and would count down the beginning of each one differently. The band liked his 4 word jumble and used it as part of the song. "Rock Of Ages" made it to #16 on the Billboard charts and this video was filmed on guitarist Phil Collens' 25th birthday.
