One of few as 'Dark Side of the Moon' was actually debuted in a live performance before the album was even recorded.
Pink Floyd's most popular album then and to this date in any genre of all time, an album that cemented itself in the Top 200 for 741 consecutive weeks (1973 - 1988). As history would have it, it's the longest album to chart continuously like that .
Since the conception of the Catalog albums chart in 1991 'Dark Side of the Moon' has been a fixture since it first appeared.
The estimation of sales since that album was released in 1973 is approximately 45 million worldwide.
