A Special Dedication For John

I don't get requests and dedications very often, but Monday I got an email from a loving sister asking a special favor for her soldier brother and it is my honor to fulfill her request.

Casey Kasem used to do these regularly on his American Top 40 Count Down and I listened every week, so let's see if I can do this.

I received an email Monday from a girl named Jill. She told me about her brother, John who is part of the Red Bulls that left for a one year deployment mission to Iraq and Kuwait. She told me that John LOVES Get the Led Out and in his honor, she will tune in every night until he gets home.

So, John of the 1-194 A Company, tonight's Get the Led Out is for you. Thank you so much for listening and thank you so much for bravely serving our country. I couldn't do what I do without you doing what you do.

Tonight is night two of his deployment. Only 363 more days until John returns, and Jill, he will be home before you know it. To John and all of the men and women serving our country, we are behind you 100 percent. Please stay safe and we will be waiting anxiously for your return.
