According to a new survey, almost 90% of us make impulse purchases. Survey also said that men spend more on impulse buys than women. 23% of men and 16% of women said their last impulse buy was more than $100.

With the internet it's a lot easier to pull out the card and buy something on impulse. I think most of that is, it's always kind of fun to get a package. The down side is it just might be something you really didn't want or need. Just seemed like a good idea at the time.

The survey also found that almost 30% of people spent over %200 a month on delivery and takeout food.10% dropped more than $200 on booze and 5% blow around $200 on coffee shops. (What's that, like 10 cups of coffee?)

Despite all of this, over half of the people in survey considered themselves a saver, not a spender.

What's the last thing you bought on impulse?
