Behind The Scenes At Surly Brewing (Part 2)

If there’s anything I’ve learned since moving to Minnesota a couple of years ago it’s that the Packer’s are our mortal enemies, and we like to drink. Personally, I don’t really watch sports, but I do love a good beer.

Like most beer drinkers, I started off with the big brands, but quickly came to realize that if you want a truly well concocted brew – craft beer is where it’s at. Fortunately for we Minnesotans, the craft beer scene here is enormous.

It seems like every city in the state has a brewery of some kind. But there’s one brewery that has led the way for all the others that stands a-top the craft beer food-chain. I’m talking about the one and only – Surly.

If you’re a beer connoisseur, you’re probably already familiar with Surly. They’ve garnered quite the reputation in recent years – and for good reason. I recently started drinking Surly beer, and I’ve gotta say, I’m nothing short of impressed.

Most brands usually only offer one or two good beers – but these guys hit it out of the park with every beverage they offer. The folks at Surly were kind enough recently to show me around their brewery and gave me an extensive interview. You can check out part 2 of this 3 part video series below.
