Brew Review: Alaskan Brewing Co. “Pumpkin Porter”

Next on the list, a group of brewers from Juneau - the Alaskan Brewing Company!  I had to try the "Pumpkin Porter" of course, but this particular blend really intrigued me due to the fact that I usually drink lighter pumpkin inspired beers.  As you can see, this beer has a rich color.

And a rich taste to go along with it.  I can see myself sipping on this while wrapped up in a blanket on my couch on cool nights.  Oh, wait.  That's happening right now!

This seasonal is very, very toasty.  The bottle says it's brewed with brown sugar and spices to compliment the pumpkin, but it's not sweet.  I would say creamy and it almost sits on your palate like a red wine would.  Full body.  I would only be able to drink one of these, but sometimes one is all you need.
