Halfway Jam

The band is returning to Mystic Lake next year, and one of my coolest rock stories involved Tesla.

This year's Halfway Jam featured newer bands, but still the same rockin' time!

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin had a bad weekend in Minnesota. First, he gave a half-assed (and seemingly lip-synched) performance at Halfway Jam on Friday evening. Then he got arrested Sunday morning. The charges? Refusing a DWI test and fleeing police...

Day #1 of Halfway Jam is in the books. Normally this means that today would be Friday, but the folks at Halfway Jam decided to throw a pre-party this year. A FREE pre-party!

Halfway Jam is finally here get set to rock July 24th - 26th in Royalton,Mn.

It stands to reason that you would hold an outdoor music festival at the end of July, when daytime temps are in the mid-60's, the skies are cloudy and the evening temps dip to the low 50's. Wait. What?

The day was overcast and blustery, the night cool (cold, maybe?) and clear. As the moon rose just to the right of the stage, Tesla cranked out the best show yet of their three Halfway Jam appearances.

Halfway Jam X continues this afternoon in Royalton, halfway between heaven & the Cities, for the tenth straight year. Gates open today at Noon, with the music starting at 1:00. Headliners tonight include Steelheart, Ratt, and Loverboy.

For ten years thousands of people gather in fields near Royalton for three days of rock with the party known as Halfway Jam. Sandy Henry and her husband started Halfway Jam after touring other concerts they visited over the years.
