What To Expect At Prince's Celebration In 2026

It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since Prince passed away in the elevator in his home - Paisley Park. Me, being a lifelong Prince fan was devastated at the news. I kind of equate it to how people felt when Elvis died. I was a little kid when that happened, but I do remember my mom on the phone with some of her friends, and they were all teary eyed talking about the loss of Elvis. There were so many people like that when Prince died too. The amount of people surrounding Paisley Park, and just the vibe of everyone when that happened was astounding.

Since then, Paisley Park has become a landmark, more than before. A whole building that is a tribute to Prince, his talent and his music. Tours are booked there regularly, and you can even rent out some of the spaces within the compound to hold events.

CELEBRATION 2026 - 10 YEARS SINCE THE PASSING OF PRINCE

This coming June, there will be a celebration of Prince's life and marking the 10 years since he has passed. Tickets are on sale now, and there are a few levels including some VIP experiences.

Prince Celebration 2026 will highlight the depth and evolution of Prince’s artistry through the eras of Parade, Emancipation, Chaos and Disorder, The Rainbow Children, and 3121 .

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET PURCHASE

It does depend on what type of ticket you decide to purchase. There is the VIP experience which really does include quite a bit of extras.

There is also the General Admission ticket which as some of the same things as the VIP experience, but a lot more extras.

There is also a boat cruise option for either the GA or the VIP ticket holders. Paisley Park does mention that if you do decide to go on the boat cruise, make sure you choose a time slot that matches your ticket time.

...please be sure to select a boat cruise time slot that matches your ticket type. If you do not, your cruise time will interfere with your Prince Celebration itinerary. Please also note, there will be no shuttle available to the boat cruises.

The celebration of life 10 years after is scheduled for June 3-7, 2026. June 7th would have been Prince's 68th birthday.
