Most people do love going to some sort of live music show.  The types of shows you go to and enjoy could change throughout your life.  Could be arena shows, outdoor festivals, or some coffee shop acoustic show.  All good, and all with a different vibe.  And what you like could depend on age, time of day, mood, or whatever else you are into at that time.

The thing that generally stays the same is that most people like some sort of live music.

GREAT MUSIC VENUES

There are certain places that seem to really have a great music scene.  Places that come to mind right away would be the Whiskey a Go-Go in LA or the Troubadour, CBGB, Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks and that's just to name a few big ones.  Then there are the big arenas that change names every no and again.  We have that happening here in Minnesota with the Xcel changing over to Grand Casino Arena in a few months.

CONCERTGOERS

Who has the BEST music scene for Concertgoers?  Where does Minnesota rank?

This answer actually does surprise me.  I always think that the coasts get the best shows, in general, and more and more people like to go to iconic venues.

TOP SPOT

Top place for concertgoers according to seatpick is Nashville, Tennessee.  Ok, that one isn't that surprising.  It's a music hub, and considered as "Music City".  I get that one.

Next on the list is Nevada - SO many shows coming to that state.  I mean, they do have Vegas with all the residencies that have become so popular over the years.

MINNESOTA RANKING

Then comes Lousiana, Montana (really??), Colorado, and coming in at number 6 on this list is Minnesota.

The state (Minnesota) hosts 28 concerts – 4.83 per million – with venues capable of seating 12% of the population (702,228). On average, Minnesotans search for concert tickets 78,256 times a month, or 1,351 per 100,000 people.

That is a solid placement for our home state.
