Ok, let's just start out by stating that I actually love the Minnesota State Fair.  I have spoked to quite a few people recently that feel the opposite way than I do.  I don't understand those people, but you do you.  We have made an agreement in our household that we will only go to the fair every other year.  And this year is NOT one of those years.  It is what it is.

So, if you are a person that does not enjoy hanging out at the state fair, this type of event is the perfect thing to do without actually GOING to the Minnesota State Fair.  This place is located in the Mall of America.  And yes, I understand that can bring up a bunch of other issues.  But, hear me out.  There is an easy way to get to this place, and you don't have to get any sort of mall-phobia.

The Fair on 4 is a restaurant/bar/activity place on the 4th floor of the Mall of America.  Here is what they offer:

AXE THROWING

Every session includes throwing time, plus training, throwing demos and safety protocols from one of our team members to keep everybody on target.

GO KARTS

Each go-kart session includes a pre-race briefing, helmet fitting, and a safety instruction session before you are ready to hit the pavement and compete for the best lap time!

INTERACTIVE DARTS

Experience the newest game on one of four custom-built Dart lanes. Great for single players and large groups - it is up to you to decide how to play with the user-friendly controller. Play classic dart games with interactive score keeping, or new games like Battleship & Mini Golf.

PULL TABS

This one is pretty self-explanatory.  You buy pull-tabs, pull them open and hope that you win some money.  Hopefully enough or more to cover what you spent to purchase said pull-tabs.

And of course, they also offer food and drinks.  And all the people watching too.

How do you get there - you can  park in the East Parking Ramp, ideally on the 4th, 5th, or 6th floor. This ramp provides direct access to the fourth floor near the Huntington® Bank Rotunda, placing you just steps away from Fair on 4.  No having to walk through the whole mall in order to get to where you want to go.  Easy.
