Baxter,

I recently married who I thought was the perfect woman for me. Before we got married, I could do no wrong. I was Mr. Wonderful in her eyes. Well, that has all changed. Lately, nothing about me is good enough. The way I dress, my haircut, my job and don't get me started on our love life. Constant criticism! What can I do?

Max from St Cloud, MN

Here's my response:

Geez Max,

Max you are what some women, on the hunt for a husband, call a "fixer upper". This means you weren't exactly what she was looking for but showed the potential to be molded into her perfect husband.  It's really is a no win situation for both of you. If you can't accept each other for who you are, it's going to be a trip down misery road. I suggest counseling.  Hope this helps.
