Every Wednesday, St. Cloud's Beaver Island Brewing partners with a local organization to donate a certain amount of proceeds back to that organization. This week's Tending for a Cause partner is the St. Cloud Area School District 742 Homeless Student Division for an event they're calling "Pints 4 Pencils." From Wednesday, August 12 at 5:00pm to Sunday, August 16 at 6:00pm Beaver Island Brewing will offer visitors a free pint of beer when they bring in new school supplies to donate to the District 742 Homeless Student Division. Required supplies include everything from crayons and pencils to Clorox wipes and gym shoes. A full list of the schools in District 742 and the supplies required by each one can be found here.

In addition to the supplies donated, $1 from each pint sale, $4 from each growler sale and all tips will be donated to the district as well.
