In an effort to get the vaccination rate up to where it should be so we can start returning to "real life" is a top priority of the CDC and the White House.  Vaccination rates have kind of slowed down lately and we can't let this opportunity to reach herd immunity slip away from us.

Tuesday, President Biden is set to announce that the White House is partnering up with Uber and Lyft to provide free transportation to vaccination sites for all Americans.  All in an effort for the United States to reach a 70% rate of at least one shot by the 4th of July. vaccination rate.

This feature with Uber & Lyft is expected to be launched in the next couple of weeks and run until July 4th.  Lyft and Uber will provide transportation to and from tens of thousands of vaccination sites around the country. The rides will be arranged through the Uber and Lyft apps.

People will be able to find a vaccination site near them and get a ride to and from the vaccination site for free.

This is just one of the many actions the White House is trying to implement in an effort to get people vaccinated before the 4th of July.  Biden has been meeting with governors and discussing strategy to get more Americans vaccinated against COVID-19.

Personally, I realize some people are reluctant or just totally against getting vaccinated, for one reason or another.  It's important to realize that the sooner we get this virus under control, the sooner we can start living our lives again.

There is a lot of crap information out there.  Try to listen to the scientists and the doctors. I'm pretty sure they are more in the know than the people that would like you to believe vaccinations are a bad thing.
