Touch-A-Truck Event Added To St. Cloud Granite City Days
A Touch-A-Truck event is coming to St. Cloud this summer as part of Granite City Days.
The event will take place on Friday, June 26th from 4-7 p.m. at Lake George/Eastman Park. It is slated to include up-close-and-personal experiences with emergency vehicles and other heavy equipment, live music from Bad Habits Brass, a petting zoo, vendors, kids' activities and more.
FREE FAMILY EVENT IN ST CLOUD
These touch-a-truck events are always a huge hit with my two boys, aged three and eight. They get a chance to climb aboard the full-sized version of the toys they play with at home, plus they get an invaluable opportunity to interact with our first responder heroes in a meaningful way that shapes their perception of them for years to come.
All of that is in addition to the fact that this event is totally free!
This event is part of St. Cloud Granite City Days' Park & Rock event which includes a vendor village and kids zone in addition to the above-mentioned fun!
St. Cloud Parks and Recreation is on the lookout for businesses/organizations that have a 'cool truck, vehicle or piece of equipment' they would be interested in sharing.
