Let's face it, there are a lot of really good bands out there. Some marginally talented, some pretty good but there a just a few that really stand out as possibly the best.

We can start with the Beatles. They were very innovative and pretty much blazed the trail for the rest. They put out some great stuff and a lot of it in a relatively short amount of time. Sure, some was kind of on the pop side of things but their overall collection was pretty damn impressive.

And then we have the Rolling Stones. These guys are still touring and filling stadiums after fifty plus years. A lot of their stuff is still getting radio play around the world. They are, no doubt, right up there as one of the greatest of all time.

My vote has to go with Led Zeppelin. There is not one Zeppelin album that isn't great. Also, a band made up of four extremely talented musicians. Robert Plant on vocals, John Paul Jones on bass and a variety of other instruments. John Bonham, maybe the best and most unique rock drummer of all time. He was such a huge part of the Zeppelin sound that they could not continue without him after his untimely death.. Last but certainly not least, Jimmy Page. Besides being a great guitar player, composer, engineer, he is also a genius arranger, in my opinion.

So, Led Zeppelin gets my vote. Who gets yours?
