Has The NFL Already Revealed Who Will Be Playing In Super Bowl 60?
We just wrapped up Super Bowl 59, with the Philadelphia Eagles coming out on top 40-22. With 59 in the books, it's time the NFL turns the page to Super Bowl 60, and they recently revealed the logo for the big game. As in past years the internet has exploded thinking that the logo gives a hint as to what teams will be in the Championship game. So let's take a look at the upcoming logo, and see if we can't divine who will be playing for all the marbles in February 2026.
So let's break this down, starting with what images we see, and do they 'hint' at who will be playing in Super Bowl 60?
So when I look at the logo I see:
- The Golden Gate Bridge
- Pine trees
- Snowcapped Mountains/Ocean Surf from above?
The game is being played in San Fransisco, so that makes sense we are seeing the Golden Gate Bridge, but what about the mountains or surf from above? The Denver Broncos would be a mountain team, and/or if it's supposed to be surf from above that could mean the Miami Dolphins.
(Some folks claim they knew it would be KC and Philly in this years game based on the colors used in Super Bowl 59s logo)
Back to the pine trees, the Vikings when they had the winter white-out had these haunting silhouettes of trees around the field, could this be the year? Let's not discount the pinkish-purpley hue in the logo...that could also signal the Baltimore Ravens, but let's keep the faith here.
Some more thoughts based on the colors involved in the logo:
- The bright green reminds me of the Seattle Seahawks.
- Or the Kelly green of the Eagles, which could signal a back-to-back appearance for the birds.
- The light blue could be a nod to the Chargers and their powder blue jerseys or the Houston Oilers, which the Texans and the Titans have both embraced.
If the logo is a hint as to who will be playing in the Super Bowl next year, I'll have to see if someone else can figure it out, as I'm a Vikings fan, and while it's REALLY cold out now, I don't think it's quite cold enough to freeze other places if you catch my drift.
