Seriously, an antenna.  Yep, we are going back about 50 or more years for that thing.  Seems like a lot of people are giving up on cable, or satellite and just streaming their shows through Hulu, Netflix, Sling, or whatever else you can stream your shows through.  But the complaint is that you miss out on local channels and programming such as the news, or if you wanted to watch a show when it actually airs instead of waiting.  So, in steps the antenna.

For approximately a bill or two that you would normally pay the cable company, you can get an antenna installed.  You may have to troubleshoot as to where you are going to get the best signal, but you can generally get some pretty decent reception.  The local channels out of the twin cities area have their towers in Shoreview.  So depending on your location, that will determine the signal you will get.

If you are thinking about going back to an antenna, make sure you get UHF/VHF capability.  If you are scratching your head and saying "what???" well, just ask your antenna installation company and they will get you all set up.  Crazy, right?
