Did you catch Wheel of Fortune last night? If you did, you may have noticed Lauren, who was the third contestant to be announced on the show. Lauren, who calls New Brighton, MN home, had the opportunity to bring back some cash, maybe a car, and or a trip. So how did she do?

Wheel Of Fortune The Game

If you are unfamiliar with Wheel of Fortune, the long-running game show pits three contestants against each other in trying to solve word puzzles one letter at a time. Each contestant spins a wheel that has various dollar amounts on it, plus bonus spaces that could be a trip, lose a turn, or a bankrupt space that wipes out the contestants winnings and their turn spinning the wheel.

To be successful at the game you have to be good and be a little lucky.

How Did Lauren Do?

Last night Lauren did alright, but she didn't advance to play in the Bonus Round Puzzle. Lauren did however win a trip to Alaska after she solved a prize puzzle, and went home with a combined prize/cash total of $16,589.

The contestant who advanced to the Bonus Prize Puzzle was Rodney, and he didn't have much luck as he wasn't able to solve the puzzle, but did leave with $27,150.

If you've had dreams of being a contestant on Wheel of Fortune it's not that hard of a process to apply for. You first fill out an application, and then, if you are selected you'll have a virtual audition, and if that goes well you'll then do 5 toss-up puzzles. If you do well chances are you could end up on the show, spinning the big wheel for potentially big prizes.

Beautiful Photos From Clemens Gardens

This weekend was a great one to get out and do something fun. I wanted to destress, so I drove over to Clemens Gardens for a nice stroll through the gardens. What a beautiful place it is. There are flowers everywhere, as well as fountains and statues. These photos only capture part of what's available to see, but in case you haven't had a chance to visit, now is a great time to view them, as everything is in full bloom. Take a look at some beautiful photos and then make a plan to take your own trip. All of your senses will thank you.
