New Year's Eve.  It's the night where we say good-bye to the last year, and start another  - hopefully to be an even better year than the previous one.  Always want to make things better than before.

Some people don't want anything to do with any New Year's Eve festivities.  I've heard that night called "amateur night" on many occasions.  If you are going to go out, sometimes it's more fun just to go to someone's house and hang out with your closest friends and family.  If you are on the younger side, the bars seem like a good idea.  Your tolerance for silly things is probably a bit higher than it is when you get older.  At that point just staying home and watching Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve might sound like a good idea.

But - here's a different idea - COMEDY!  Everyone loves a good laugh, right?

Beaver Island Brewery is having a special comedy show on New Year's Eve!

Special night, special show! This New Years Eve We have a Local flavor show for a good cause! a Portion of ticket sales are going to the awesome non-profit Project 37!

Tickets available online at

This sounds like the perfect thing to do if you want to do something out of the same old thing you do every year, and gets you out of the house too!  Low key, funny, new year.  All good things.  Laugh your way into 2025!  Cheers!
