Fellow rockers are speaking out about the death of former Warrant lead singer Jani Lane and more information is also being released regarding the circumstances that surround his untimely passing.

The members of Jani Lane's former band have issued a statement regarding his death. The band performed in North Dakota over the weekend and expressed their sorrow over the news. Current lead singer Robert Mason spoke about Jani and his impact on music. He then led the audience in a singalong of "Heaven". Warrant also posted a statement on their website praising Lane and all he did for the band and what he meant to them. They also say that Jani was a "true talent" who "will be missed."

Other rockers are also chiming in to remember Lane's memory including Nikki Sixx, Slash and Alice Cooper who have all taken to their Twitter accounts to praise Lane.

Foul play is not suspected and no official statement has been released regarding the cause of death, but celebrity gossip website TMZ is reporting that investigators found pills and vodka at the scene. An initial autopsy conducted on Friday did not reveal any concrete details and toxicology tests will still take weeks to get back.

As the investigation continues, there are now reports surfacing that Lane had been kicked out of some L.A. area hotels for allegedly trashing the rooms and one hotel had actually banned him from their place.
